The umbrella organization of dance directors, 'The Dance Directors Association' was formally registered on 26th Shrawan 2073 in District Administration Office. The total 13 dance directors are the founder members.

This organization is registered according to the law and order of Nepal and got its PAN No. 605178609, Kathmandu in Ktm. Metropolitan and social welfare commission.

Dance is our pride and recognition of art and culture is the primary motto of this association. Following the same footsteps, this group has already honored the great dance teachers who has given the precious contribution with cash price and valuable certificates. It also has remembered the demised dance teachers on Guru Purnima lighting candles for their soul to get the place in the heaven. Not only that it also helps the physically handicapped people related to this field with cash, organizing various programmes nationally as well as in international level.

On the day of its establishment, this organization organizes dance competition representing multi ethnic groups of Nepal. They even move around the city representing the whole country in different cultural dances in their own cultural dresses. It publishes its operational calendar every year. Despite these, it works to promote folk dances classical dances charya dances in the country. It maintain duties and responsibilities of professional dance directors, takes the initiation to preserve art and culture through dance and celebrates 'National Dance Day" and requests the government to help the sick and disabled people of this field.

The branches of this association have been established in different major cities like Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kavre, Chitwan. This great organization has announced (to give) the "DIDAN" medal of silver (10 total). The another great work done by it is that it has already honored the most senior dance director like Bhairab Bahadur Thapa, Mrs Bina Joshi, Mr. Sthane Bahadur Rana, Mr. Raju Shah, Mr. Mall Gurujyu and Mr.Him Gyao Lama with copper plate inscription, cash price and precious shawl 'Dosalla'.

The most respected senior dance director and lecturer Mrs. Beti Bajracharya has set up 'Prithivi Biju Bruce Trust' to salute and encourage the pioneer of this sector. She started this trust with Rs. 1,001,001 and already handed over to the association on Shrawan 26, 2074. From that trust, Rs.8000 has already been awarded to the famous dance group 'The Wild Ripperz Crew' on the organization's second year of establishment on 24 Shrawan, 2075.

1. Paid homage for dance director Rajesh Gurung on 29 Poush, 2073 in National Theatre, Jamal.
2. Published the calendar on 8 Chaitra 2073.
3. Under the chairmanship of the literary century person Satya Mohan Joshi, the first formally qualified dance director Bhairab Bahadur was honoured with copper plate, cash price Rs.25,000 and Dosalla on Chaitra 10, 2073
4. Co-operated Nepal Television in New Year programme 2074 with many dances.
5. Honored six different great dancer on the occasion of International Dance Day in Nepal Music Academy, Pinglasthan with the inogration of 'Smarika' on 16th Baisakh, 2074.
6. Gave up Rs.10,000 cash to dance teacher Kameshwor Jha on 28th Baisakh, 2074.
7. Lighted candles on Guru Purnima to pay tribute to honour demise dance teachers.
8. Paid tribute to dance director Lila Raj Suwal on 1st Shrawan, 2074 at national Theater.
9. Organized district wise 'Tamang Selo' dance competition at Ramhiti Bouddha Sahitya Sadan in Kathmandu on 21st Shrawan, 2074.
10. Organize Ancient Classical Charya dance competition at Lalitpur Bholdhoka, Jyapu Samaj, Pragya bhawan, Patan on 21st Shrawan, 2074.
11. Organized Inter School Newari Folk Dance Competition at Yechu party Venue, Thimi on 20th Shrawan, 2074.
12. Dancers move around the major city representing 7 provinces on the occasion of National Dance Day on 26th Shrawan, 2074.
13. Under the chairmanship of the minister for information and communication Mohan Bahadur Basnet, the first national dance fair was organized on 26th Shrawan, 2074.
14. Paid the tribute to dance director Rameshwor jha on 17th Ashoj, 2074 and dance Laxmi Rana Magarin National Theater on 22nd Ashoj, 2074.
15. Organized annual general conference at Putalisadak on 3rd Ashoj, 2074.
16. Under the chairmanship of the minister for law, justice and federal affairs, honoured the first lecturer of dance, senior honey Shrestha with copper plate inscription, cash price Rs. 25,555, Dosalla and DIDAN Medal.
17. Handed over Rs. 29,500 collecting from different branches, to spinal injured dance director Sudip Shrestha of Banepa on 16th Ashad, 2075.
18. Organized 2days Hip-hop dance workshop by The Wild Ripperz Crew at Nepal Music Centre, Gaushala on 4th and 5th shrawan, 2075.
19. Managed the inauguration of Nandita Gun Gun Children's songhs in Premiere International I.B.School, Lalitpur on 19th Shrawan, 2075.
20. Organized 'Candle Light programme' at National Theatre on Guru Purnima, 11th Shrawan, 2075.
21. Published the operation calendar 2075.
22. Showed different cultural dances of different province.
23. 2nd National Dane Fair-2075 was celebrated at Bhrikuti Mandap under the chairmanship of the minister for culture, tourism and aviation on 26th Shrawan, 2075.
