Dahal paper passed unanimously

The eighth general convention of the CPN-Maoist Centre unanimously passed party Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s political document, but decided to attach the note of dissent submitted by party leader Lekhnath Neupane.CPN-MC Spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara told mediapersons here today that suggestions put forth by other leaders on Dahal’s document would be incorporated in the document, but the note of dissent submitted by Neupane would be attached to the document and debated in the party. Neupane had submitted a note of dissent saying that Dahal’s political document neither offer the right course for the emancipation of proletariat class nor did it dwell on class issues and foreign policy issues. Mahara said the ongoing general convention would possibly end tomorrow.The general convention will elect the party’s new leadership.
